The latest e-journal of the European Federation for Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy (EFPP) has been published, featuring a report by our Society titled “Psychotherapy Regulations in Bulgaria as of 2025.”

Our report focuses on the current state of psychotherapy in Bulgaria as of 2025. In it, we have attempted to reflect some of the efforts made by many colleagues over the years, as well as the systematic efforts of the Bulgarian Association for Psychotherapy (BAP), toward the introduction, development, and establishment of professional standards for the practice and training of psychotherapy in Bulgaria, despite the lack of state legal regulation of the profession.
